ASID Knowledge Series – Educational Day

Marmol will be sponsoring the American Society of Interior Designer’s (ASID) Knowledge Series on Friday, July 18, 2014. During the event, Marmol will be featuring our presentation, Introduction to Stone Design I, at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. In this one hour presentation you will be able to learn about the various natural stones, like marble, granite, limestone and quartzite. Additionally, you will gain general knowledge about common quarrying techniques, fabrications, and finishing methods. This course is designed to enhance your ability to select the perfect stone and fabrication technique to finish your interior design project.

As an ASID member you will receive a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) that will count toward your two year requirement. Take advantage to receive your CEU while obtaining valuable information regarding how to work with natural stone.
